Haven: Expat Concierge Services
At Haven we offer three signature service streams, designed around the three most significant moments in an expat family's journey — the departure, the arrival, and the return home. All three draw on the same foundation: six countries, nine moves, and a lifetime of hard-won knowledge about what it actually takes to make a new place feel like home — including the place you started from.
We work the way you need us to — over Zoom or FaceTime if you're overseas, or over a coffee at a café near you if you're in Sydney. No offices, no formality. Just honest, experienced guidance from someone who has done this herself.
Leaving Australia, or anywhere

For families in the early stages of planning a move out of their home country, who need a clear, experienced framework for what lies ahead. We meet over Zoom, FaceTime or a coffee near you.
Includes:
● A 90-minute consultation covering your destination, your family's specific needs and your timeline
● A personalised pre-departure roadmap, what to do, in what order, and when
● A destination briefing on your new country: what to expect in the first three months, expat community landscape, cultural and practical differences
● Haven's guide to the emotional preparation, how to talk to your children about the move, how to say goodbye well, and how to hit the ground running

For families who want support from the decision to leave right through to landing and settling in their new country.
Includes everything in The Departure Edit, plus:
● Two further sessions, one pre-departure and one in your first weeks abroad, via Zoom or FaceTime
● Pre-departure checklist support, Medicare, banking, tax, subscriptions, mail redirection, storage etc
● Destination-specific insider knowledge for the countries Haven knows intimately: the UAE, Singapore, the UK, the USA and China.
● Introduction to expat communities and Facebook groups in your destination city before you even leave
● WhatsApp support throughout your transition
● A grounding call in your first week abroad, because the first week is always the hardest, and it helps to talk to someone who has been there

● Two further sessions over six weeks in person or via video, whichever suits
● School enrolment support & application guidance
● Rental market orientation what to look for, what to avoid, how to navigate rental process as a newcomer
● WhatsApp support throughout real answers in real time
● Introductions to Haven's trusted network: migration agents, financial advisors and tax specialists who understand expat life
● A check-in call at the three-month mark, because that's often when the adrenaline wears off
